Recording of Documents / Online Records Search


The Ouray County Clerk and Recorder's office maintains all documents recorded, including, but not limited to, deeds, marriage, licenses, and plats. The County uses TheCountyRecorder (TCR) to codify all of the County's recording needs. The system has powerful search capabilities and recording functionality, as well as user-friendly interface. 


New Recording Fees - Effective January 1, 2017
  • $13 for the first page and $5.00 for each additional page for recorded documents
    • Exceptions: 
      • Affidavit of Labor / Intention to Hold Claim 34-43-114; Mining Claim Documents; Federal Tax Liens
      • The document fees for the above listed exceptions are $8.00 for the first page and $5.00 for each additional page. (For other fee exceptions, please consult the Recording Rate Sheet)
