Salary Range: $69,910.35 to $87,387.84

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management: Oversee all marketing, planning, and administrative functions to ensure the success of the Fairgrounds and 4-H Event Center. Provide staff support to the Fairgrounds Advisory Committee and the Fair Board.
Financial Oversight: Maintain financial integrity by preparing annual budgets, analyzing financial data, and developing strategies to maximize revenue through events and bookings.
Event Coordination: Direct all aspects of group and event activities, including set-up, food and beverage, décor, entertainment, and audiovisual needs.
Community Engagement: Act as a liaison with the Chamber of Commerce, local businesses, and governmental agencies to attract conventions and seminars.
Emergency Preparedness: Support emergency operations in times of crisis, ensuring the facility can serve as a shelter for humans and livestock.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience in parks and recreation management or a related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Special Qualifications: Must have or be able to attain Serve Safe and TIPS training, and maintain the County’s Liquor License.
Skills: Strong knowledge of Fairgrounds operations, public relations, marketing, program planning, and contract negotiations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Certifications: Completion of National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System courses 100, 200, 700, and 800 within 3 months of start date.

Salary Range: $116,636.87 to $145,796.09

Key Responsibilities

Lead financial strategy and direction for the county.
Prepare the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and Annual Budget.
Oversee annual audits and propose financial transaction policies.
Support Department Heads and Elected Officials with financial management tools.
Advise the County Manager on critical financial policies.
Act as Interim County Manager when required.
Manage grant acquisition and financial reporting.
Promote financial transparency and public communication.
Prepare and manage grant budgets and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution.
CPA license or ability to acquire within one year.
CPFO certification or ability to acquire within one year.

Certifications and Licenses

Valid State Driver's License
Must pass a background check (criminal and traffic)
Legal authorization to work in the United States
