FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: A message from Ouray County Clerk and Recorder, Cristy Lynn
Hello wonderful Ouray County residents,
I wanted to let you all know that due to family matters, my future is taking a hard right turn. My new granddaughter, born August 26, has been diagnosed with epilepsy. She is doing very well but my daughter and son-in-law will need a significant amount of support raising their perfectly, imperfect little lady so, I will be moving to Tennessee.
I will resign my position as Ouray County Clerk and Recorder between Dec. 31st, 2025 and Jan. 15th, 2026 after the County Commissioners decide the best timeline for my replacement to be appointed. My amazing office team will continue business as usual.
I wish I could say this was a tough decision, but the truth is that there is no place I’d rather be than with my special little princess and her amazing parents. I want to thank this wonderful community that has embraced me with open arms from the minute I arrived. I will miss you all and I will see you often.
