Due to seasonal winter weather conditions, CR-361 (Camp Bird Road) and upper CR-5 are closed to public wheeled vehicle traffic beginning today, December 4, 2024, effective immediately. CR-361 is closed at the gate at Senator Gulch, 3.4 miles above the intersection with US-550; foot traffic remains permissible beyond the gate, and recreationists are encouraged to exercise extreme caution when in the Camp Bird/ice-climbing area. CR-5 is closed at the cattle guard gate near the intersection of CR-5/5A; the Miller Mesa Recreation Trail remains open to all permissible modes of travel.
