VIN Inspections
A VIN Inspection / Verification is a physical inspection of a car, truck, camper, trailer, or motorcycle's unique identification number for titling and registration.
The Ouray County Sheriff's Office offers VIN Inspections by appointment. You can either bring the vehicle to the Ouray County Sheriff's Office at your designated appointment time, or a Sheriff's Deputy can come to your home or vehicle location for the verification.

***VIN Services through the Sheriff's Office is for unincorporated areas of Ouray County ONLY. If you live in the City of Ouray or Town of Ridgway DO NOT USE this option. You MUST pay through the City or Town.***
